MINI Kitesurf Tour Europe supported by Chupa Chups

“Life less serious” is the claim of new support sponsor of the European Championship in Freestyle Kitesurfing

Hamburg/ Milan. The MINI Kitesurf Tour Europe will be supported by the King of Lollipop: Chupa Chups. The MINI Kitesurf Tour Europe 2012 is the official European Championship for kitesurfing and shifts out the top European riders in the freestyle and racing disciplines. With this partnership, Chupa Chups is leveraging its efforts in attracting more mature target groups via its strategic alliance with advance kites, an Italy based global player in Kiteboarding market.

 

“The MINI Kitesurf Tour Europe with events in five major European markets is the perfect platform to spread out “Life less serious” and usage of Lollipop within an open minded non-teenager focused community. I hope that e.g. advance rider Tijn van Esch (Dutch; placed 3rd in the Freestyle Ranking of the European Championships 2011) will push our kites on the podium again and create synergies of the alliance with advance kites of this great event-sponsoring.” Ambrogio Perfetti responsible for the partnership stated yesterday.

 

About the Kitesurf Tour Europe

Since 2008 the IKA is responsible for the worldwide kitesurfing organization concerning the sanctioning of the ISAF (International Sailing Federation). Since 2010 the European Championship in Kiteboarding Freestyle is designed to host the best riders and racers of Europe.

The Kite Tour Europe dispose over 60.000€ prize money and attracted many riders over 23 nations in the last few years. All the events will bring kitesurfing and the appropriate lifestyle to the European metropolitan area like Hamburg, Vienna/ Bratislava, Rotterdam, Nantes and Barcelona.
