The Kitesurf Tour Europe
Kitesurf Tour Europe
The Kitesurf Tour Europe (KTE) is the official European Championship Tour in Kiteboarding Freestyle.
We invite the best kiteboarders (inside and outside Europe) to participate in the tour and experience a highly professional event series that has the aim to push the sport to the next level.
The Kitesurf Tour Europe (KTE) is the correspondent tour to the Kite Tour Asia (KTA) and is encouraging other continental series for a regional and global growing of the competing community.
Kitesurf Tour Europe means:
- for the kiteboarding community: More riding with less travel costs but reasonable price money and strong media presence across all communication platforms. More professional events to promote the sport nationally and internationally
- for the sponsors: The series offers more kiteboarding with less costs but more media presence due to the newly established national identification of professional athletes with their home countries and TV-spectators
Since 2002, the Kitesurf Trophy in Germany has offered riders a highly professional platform to compete in kiteboarding. The sanctioning of the IKA (International Kiteboarding Association) encouraged us to share this know-how with the European kiteboarding community by organising and promoting the European Continental Championships in 2010. After the great success of the tour last years, we are happy to share the next season with some of the most professional events in Europe:
The European Championship in Kiteboarding Freestyle is designed to host the best riders of Europe in an "internationally open" competition.
